25 flights 4 continents & we are only getting started!

Some of us make a conscious choice to chase the corporate dream, the prestigious 9 – 5 job that comes with loaded job titles, big pay cheques and hefty tax bills. What is the story of life that you want to tell at the end of it? One of adventures or one that was spend chasing project deadlines? A wise man said, life is as big as you make it! How big do you plan to make this life?

Exploring the world, one country at a time! #OutofOfficeTravellers…

Having completed 25 flights across 4 continents in 17 weeks, my wife & I find a certain pleasure in hearing the pilot say the name of a new place every time the plane lands. Traveling is like flirting with life. It’s like saying, ‘I would stay and love you, but I have to go; this is my station’. So far this year, We’ve been to Sydney, Bali, Singapore, Poland, Delhi, Bangalore, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and of course London. Between the beautiful sunrises and the glorious sunsets; Every journey has been unique, touching and fulfilling, a kind we could talk on about for hours.

Once in a while it really hits people that they don’t have to experience the world in the way they have been told to… That realization came to us in early years of our travel when we tried to follow the prescribed itineraries of travel agents & tour operators, we would finish a trip no wiser. The joy of travel is in the element of surprise as the culture, culinary and the mysteries unfold, prescribed itineraries are too carefully & commercially crafted. After all, the traveler sees what he sees, the tourist sees what he has come to see… Be the traveller!

Highlights of 2017 so far…

Too often… I would hear people boast of the miles traveled, rarely of what they had seen. Business travel may earn you the miles but not the adventures of fulfillment.

Remember that happiness is a way of travel – not a destination…
